Nancy Smith

Nancy L. Smith, 83, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away surrounded by her family at home on Good Friday, April 15, 2022. Nancy was born on August 12, 1938, in West Allis, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Mary and George Bigger.  Nancy Smith loved crocheting, she donated many hats she made to our local hospitals for the NICU babies, she also donated many hats and scarves to our local daycare centers as well. Nancy Smith attended Rockford Church Of Christ with her grandchildren for many years.  Nancy Smith worked for GC Waldom and Electronics where she retired from. Nancy had 6 children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Nancy is survived and missed by her daughter, Roxanne Lamparter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and George; her children RaeAnn Smith, Danny Smith, Carl K Smith, Robin Smith, Sara Smith Gunn, Husband Carl O’Neal Smith, son-in-law, Joey Lamparter.
