Nancy Peters

January 27, 1959 — June 3, 2025

Nancy J. Peters, 66, of Rockford, passed away June 3, 2025, at Amberwood Care Centre after a long illness. She was born on January 27, 1959, in Rockford; the daughter of John and Virginia (Bigelow) Juno. She graduated from Harlem High School in 1977. She was married to Jim Houston in Rockford. Nancy worked as a daycare provider. Her family and friends all thought Nancy was a fun person to be around. Nancy enjoyed socializing with her friends. She also had a green thumb and had beautiful house plants.

Survivors include her son Joshua (Jennifer) Peters; grandchildren Alex, Aiden, and Kaylee; and sister Sue Riggall. She is predeceased by her parents; husband Jim Houston; and brothers Tommy, Jimmy, and Timothy.
