Muriel Lynne Fields, 64, of Rockford, passed away on November 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 6, 1960, in Caruthersville, Missouri; the daughter of Milton and Geraldine (McCoy) Fields. Muriel had worked as an assembly worker for North HealthCare in Rockford. She was a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church. She loved to play cards and scratch-off lottery tickets. She was very kindhearted and always willing to help someone out in need. She had a lot of friends and was very well known. Her favorite thing to do was spend time and go on outings with her granddaughter Milani.

Survivors include her daughter Brandy Fields; granddaughter Milani Perry; mother Geraldine Willett; siblings Doris Craig and Douglas (Laurie) Fields; Calvin Willett; Karl Lynn Willet and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Milton Fields, Sr.; stepfather Melvin Willett; son Brandon Fields; and brother Milton Fields, Jr.
