Michele Lee Long, 50, of Rockford, passed away on August 1, 2024, at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. She was born November 10, 1973, in Rockford; the daughter of Douglas and MaryAnn (David) Terryberry. She graduated from Jefferson High School. Michele married Vernon Long on June 9, 1995. She worked as a sales rep for LKG Industries. Michele enjoyed gardening and bowling. Her favorite time of year was fall. She enjoyed going to apple orchards and decorating for and celebrating Halloween.

Michele is survived by her husband Vern; mother MaryAnn Terryberry; son Ryan (Courtney) Long; daughter Mackenzie Long; brother Mike (Evelyn) Terryberry; granddaughter Delilah; and nephew Seth Terryberry. She is predeceased by her father Douglas Terryberry.

A Celebration life will be held from 11 am to 2 pm, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1300 Pearl Street, Belvidere, IL 61008. A luncheon will be served at 11:30 am.
