Michael Foltz

December 17, 1956 — April 17, 2024

Michael Ray Foltz, 67, of Rockford, passed away on April 17, 2024, after a short, courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 17, 1956, in Rockford; the son of Aaron “Sonny” and Nancy Foltz. He was a 1975 graduate of Harlem High School. Michael was an avid bowler and above average pool player, participating in many leagues throughout his life. He was also a lifelong Cubs and Bears fan, through thick and thin.

He is survived by his sister Lori Foltz Carlson; brother Ken (Susan Myers) Foltz; nieces Nicole Bergren and Reagan Salisbury; nephews Allen Foltz, Salvador Stoneberg, and Eli Stoneberg; sister-in-law Linda McElmeel; and numerous other loving relatives. He is predeceased by his parents and older brother Gregory Foltz.

Thank you to Mike’s forever friends Mark Fatheree, Jim Henderson, and Pat and Cheryl Gourley. He was always grateful for your friendships.
