Mary Eileen Fowler, 77, of Loves Park, peacefully passed away in her home on December 13, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 3, 1944, in Watertown WI to Elmer and Margaret (Morrison) Kiesow. Mary married Michael Fowler on January 29, 1998. She worked for 25 years at Clinton Electronics as a forklift driver and 20 years at Walmart as a stocker before retiring. She was a member of the White Eagles Club. Mary enjoyed gambling at casinos and traveling to Las Vegas. She loved shopping with her daughter Penny and fishing with her husband Mike. She also enjoyed cooking for her family. Mary is survived by her loving husband Mike Fowler; her children Penny (Mark) Verstraete, Alan Cox, and Ricky Cox; stepchildren Colleen (David) Dannenberg and Patrick (Nicole) Fowler; grandchildren Alyssa and Matthew Haling, and Michael and Tyler Cox; great grandchildren Kato and Kali Cox; sisters Janet, Jackie, Dodie, and Lucy; brother Jimmy, Johnny, and Larry; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, and siblings Judy and Harry. A Celebration of Life will be 1 to 4 pm, Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the White Eagle Club at 235 15 th Ave., Rockford.
