Marie Horn

October 18, 1933 — February 9, 2025

Marie Horn, 91, of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully at her granddaughter daughter Elizabeth Beckman's (David Young, Jr.) home on February 9, 2025. Marie was born on October 18, 1933, in Kentucky. She spent most of her life in the DeKalb area. And retired at the age of 72 from Alloyd Company Incorporated. She was married and had 9 children. 12 grandchildren, many great grandkids and even great-great grandchildren. She lived to see 5 generations born. On her final days her closest family gathered to surround her with warmth and love. They shared memories while going through old photos and videos she had kept over the years. These family members include her daughter Pamela Santana, her grandchildren Elizabeth Beckman (David Young), Amanda Burg, Christopher Santana (Jennifer Loy), Jeffrey Santana, her great grandchildren Desiree Beckman (Robert Staats) Samantha Young and her great-great grandchildren Kayden, Johnathan, Nova, and Christopher Staats.
