Margaret Lester-Knott

Margaret Jeanette Lester-Knott, 93, of Rockford, passed away on February 9, 2022, surrounded by her family.  She was born on March 29, 1928, in Rockford, the daughter of William and Vera (Morris) Lester.  Margaret was a very loving person and was all about her family.  She had a real love for flowers, gardening, and collecting rare antiques.  She had a compassionate heart for anyone in need. Margaret is survived by her children Diane (Al) Lang, Greg Knott, Robert (Frankie) Knott, Larry Knott, and Grace (Bob) Klump, grandchildren Kelly Bergman, Matthew Knott, and Nickey Dixon; great grandson Justin Bergman.  She was predeceased by her parents; husband Claude Knott; daughter Claudia Dixon; and granddaughter Christa Dixon.
