Loren D. Miesner, 54 of Rockford passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born March 20, 1970, in Enid, OK he is the son of Roger Miesner and Linda (Evans) Kerby. Loren graduated from Belvidere High School, Class of 1988. Loren was employed with Astro Physics for the past 20 years as their Master Machinist. Known to many as a rockstar both on and off the stage, Loren lived a life filled with passion, curiosity, and a deep love for those around him.
Survivors include his father, Roger Miesner; mother, Linda Kerby; wife, Laura; children Evan (Lexi) Miesner, Taylor (Brandon) Miesner, Lindsey (Matt) Huckstep, and Chelsea (Brandon) Abbott; grandchildren, Kaiden, Caleb, Olivia, Drake, Declan and Easton; sister, Kelli (Kelly) Bryden, brothers, Mark Miesner and Brian Kerby; nephews, Skyler Wendt, Daytona (Grace) Bryden, Zander Miesner, Easton Kerby; nieces Oakley and Navie Kerby. Predeceased by his grandparents, Jim and Helen Evans, and Edwin and Elizabeth Miesner, granddaughter, Elliot Ann.
