Lisa Johnson

Lisa Marie Johnson, 60, of Freeport, passed away on August 17, 2024, at Serenity Home in Oregon, IL. She was born on January 10, 1964, in Rockford; the daughter of Carl David Everett and Margaret (MacCallum) Johnson. Lisa loved living in the country. She took advantage of country living by watching and taking photos of all the wildlife that was around her, whether it was owls, deer, plants, or flowers. She also raised her 2 fur babies, Annie and Allie. She trained them not to bark at the deer when they wandered onto the property. Lisa was the youngest of 6 children.

Her survivors include her dogs Annie and Allie; sisters Sandy (Roy) Miller and Liz White; nieces and nephews Jamie and Jody Reinert, Dawn (Bill) Spielman, Shawn (Martha) Miller, Sara (Jose) Garcia, Taylor White, Brandon Johnson, and Angela (John Mark) Lee; numerous great- and great-great-nieces and nephews; and her dear friends Terry and Sarah Sitton. She is predeceased by her parents; fiancé Doug Cohen; and siblings Karen Reinert, Rodney and Russell Johnson; and brother-in-law Cary White.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff at Serenity Home for their excellent care of Lisa during her stay.
