Linda Eloise Wolford, 63, of Rockford, died in her home surrounded by family on December 14, 2019. Born March 24, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan; daughter of Arthur and Shirley E. (Quick) Griffin. Linda went all out to celebrate holidays and made them memorable. She enjoyed all kinds of music, including Elvis. She loved to decorate and sew and made many costumes, blankets, and scarves over the years. She would be glued to the TV after October when Hallmark Channel started showing Christmas movies. She loved her family and she will be greatly missed. Survivors include her husband Charles (AKA Carlos), children Tanya Willis, James Stafford, and Star Stafford; grandchildren Dena Willis, Angel Lopez, Karina Lopez, Shian Lopez, Damion Demars, Christian Demars, Aryian Velez, DonJames Stafford, Kyla Stafford, James Stafford, Tyler Stafford, Avion Rufus, Elijah Rufus, and one on the way; siblings Bruce A. Griffin, Charles R. Lucas, John M. Kinney, Scott E. Harris, Jason L. Harris, and Sara D. Harris; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30, Saturday, December 21, 2019 in her home, 812 Linden Avenue, Rockford, IL 61102. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 7307 N.
