Linda Mcclintock

Linda McClintock, 76 of Rock Falls, IL died Saturday, April 10, 2021 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. Linda was born in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Virgil and Virginia (Ray) Staples. She was one of 15 children. Linda retired from BorgWarner in Dixon, IL after 25 years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing, and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and didn’t know a stranger she couldn’t talk to. Linda is survived by her husband Larry whom she married on May 10, 1980. Other survivors include 3 children: Patrick (Tina) Dalton of Kankakee, IL; Michelle (Don) Goble of Hastings, MN; Alan Dalton of Rockford, IL and 3 stepchildren: Miles McClintock and Monica McKown both of Davenport, IO; Mark McClintock (deceased) plus 6 grandchildren including Taylor and Kennedy Dalton both of Dixon, IL and several great grandchildren. Siblings include Virginia Fern Jines of Mt. Vernon, IL; Dorothy Dale of Big Rock, IL; Shirley Colville of Rock Falls, IL; Peggy Wittenben (Mike) of Love Lady, TX; Vicky Simmons of Rock Falls, IL; Debra Hallen (Herb) of Dover, IL; Diana Cox (Brad) of Rock Falls, IL; Virgil W. Staples (Janice) of Mt. Vernon, IL; Philip Staples of Rock Falls, IL and Ricky J. Staples. She was preceded in death by her brothers: LeRoy, Carl, John, and Larry Staples.
