Linda Kerley

July 31, 1947 — March 22, 2024

Linda S. Kerley, 76, of Rockford, passed away in her home on March 22, 2024. She was born on July 31, 1947, in Corning, Arkansas; the daughter of Earl and Nona (Brown) Keller. Linda graduated from Guilford High School in 1965. She worked for Landstar Trucking in the office for 35 years. Linda was a homebody and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Linda was a very Godly woman and prayed for everyone.

Survivors include her children Howard (Kitty) Kerley, Jr. and Melissa (Pete) Leggero; grandchildren Jordan (Martika Cox) Kerley and Morgan Penn; great grandchildren Damien, Ayden, Layla, and Isaiah; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; life partner Howard Kerley, Sr.; daughter Teresa Kerley; siblings Billy, Herman, Bob, Shannon, Betty, Darlene, Larry, Mary, Freddie, and Jerry; and several nieces and nephews.
