Linda Christeson

Linda Ann Christeson, 62, of Roscoe, passed away on October 9, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 10, 1960, in Elgin, IL; the daughter of Lester and Sally (Bingham) Christeson. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1978. Linda loved to decorate her home, both inside and outside, for the holidays. Her life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and collecting frogs. Linda is survived by her husband Bryan Austin, children James (Alicia) Austin, Linnea (Josh) Lundy, Shane Weerda, and Brandon Austin; grandchildren Julian Austin, Dominick Lundy, Drake Austin, Owen Lundy, and Freya Weerda; 1 great- grandchild on the way; her siblings Mark (Cheri) Christeson, Dawn (Lonnie) Glover, and John (Jenny) Christeson; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends. She is predeceased by her parents, and granddaughter Scarlet Lundy. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, from 3 to 5 pm at Rocky’s Bar and Grill, 5314 N. Second St., Loves Park, IL 61111. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.
