Linda Renee Baumgartner, 61, of Rockford, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2026, in her home. She was born on May 3, 1964, in Rockford, the daughter of Dale and Sally (Bolton) Harding. Linda graduated from Roosevelt High School and worked at Rockford Memorial Hospital in the emergency room for over 20 years. Linda enjoyed cooking the recipes passed down from her mom, Sally.
Linda is survived by her children Danielle (Cody Berndt) Brown and Alex (Lauryn) Baumgartner; 4 grandchildren; brother Mike (Katie) Harding; niece Mackenzie (Jake) Hopping; and nephew Ryan (Lindsey) Harding. She is predeceased by her parents Dale and Sally Harding.
