Lial Mccullough

Lial Leroy McCullough, 71, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Rockford, Illinois, surrounded by his family. Lial was born on August 30, 1950, to Donna and Harold McCullough in Fort Dodge Iowa. He attended Stillman Valley High School Lial married the love of his life, Doreen in December of 1999. Lial was a machinist in the area for many years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching TV, cheering on the Chicago Bears, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Lial is survived by his wife, Doreen of Rockford, Illinois; daughters, Amy Price and Christine (Jerry) Polk of Rockford; son, Dennis Mahurin of Rockford; Carmen and Makila of Rockford, Illinois. Lial was preceded in death by his parents, and Aunt Jody. The family would like to extend their gratitude to their daughter Amy and niece Michelle Champion of their support and help.
A memorial service for Lial will take place Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church of Cherry Valley, Illinois. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service. A luncheon will take place at Davis Junction Fire Department following the service.
