Lewis Clarence Haven, 63, of Rockford, passed away in his home on September 16, 2024. He was born on May 26, 1961, in Plattsburgh, NY; the son of Anna Clancy. He worked as a machinist and supervisor for Rockford Products for many years. He married Doris Strang, and she passed away January 22, 2022. He attended Third Presbyterian Church over the years. Lewis enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with his family and friends. He was also very close with his pets.
He is survived by his sons Lewis (Jamie) Cunitz, Brandon Haven, and Christopher Cunitz; grandsons Nicholas and Shaun Cunitz; sisters Lori (Bryan) Haven-Olson and Stacie Ruffcorn; nieces and nephews Michael (Carissa) Ruffcorn, Matt (Joanna) Ruffcorn, Sarah Ruffcorn; Morgan Olson, Marissa Olson, and Macy Olson; and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mom; wife Doris; and brother Kevin Haven.
The family would like to thank 2 very special people that helped Lew the last couple of years, Tammy his daily homecare helper and his hospice nurse, Katie. These 2 ladies were a true blessing.
