Leon M. LeBeau, 69, of Machesney Park passed away in his home on Friday, August 27, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born August 25, 1952 in Rockford, IL., the youngest son of Gustave Charles and Margaret Rose Friedly. He lived in the Rockford area his entire life, graduating from Auburn High School in 1971. He married Merry Joy Weidig on February 27, 1981, she passed away on December 9, 2016. He previously worked at Anderson Brothers, Ingersoll Machine Tools, and Excel Gear as a CNC Operator. He enjoyed playing on his company softball teams, as well as riding the several motorcycles he had over the years. His travels took him to the Snake River and Yellowstone. Survivors include his daughter Christina Reneé (Aaron) Larson of Machesney Park, son Michael (Emma) Jalouga of Ft. Lauderdale, brothers and sisters Ronald (Pat) LeBeau, Ella (Gerald) Ellefson, Chuck (Sara) Lebeau, Teena (Craig) Burdick, Anthony (Judy) LeBeau, and Mary (Michael) Valaisis; Goddaughters Tracey Kennington and Angela Stahl; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his grandkittens Cygnus and Lyra. Predeceased by his favorite grandkitten Orion. Memorials in his name may be given to the American Heart Association. Per his wishes, no memorial service will be held. ?
