Leah Fern Cruse, 74, of Stillman Valley, passed away in her home on March 3, 2022. Born May 14, 1947, in Rockford; daughter of Emery and Elaine (Deveney) Wedig. Leah worked at Production Line as an assembler and was a bus driver for Septran for both Rockford and Stillman Valley school districts. She volunteered her time at Meridian Junior High School after she retired. She was a member of Davis Junction United Methodist Church. Leah enjoyed crafting, including crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She was an avid reader. Her favorite pastime was spending time her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her mother Elaine Wedig; children Tina (Gene) Holtz, Tammy (Randy) Levingston, and Christopher (Melissa) Cruse; grandchildren Ashley Cruse, Albert and Darion Levingston, Eddie (Alisha Hejda) Torrance, Amanda (Rich) Longoria, and Adam Cruse; great-grandchildren James, Dreyden, Aviana, Kaleyah, DJay, Charlotte, Ricky, Kaiden, Helena, Dominic, Janiyah, plus one on the way; her constant companions Thor and BJ; a very special little girl Olivia Flaherty; siblings Linda (Ronald) Wagner and Laurie (Charlie) Bigelow; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Cruse, Jr.; father Emery Wedig; and sisters Patsy Lee Wedig and LouAnn Millard. There will be a private burial and a Celebration of Life will be announced.
