Laureen S Behling

Laureen Shelly Behling, 78, of Rockford passed away on May 4, 2026, in her home. She was born on March 31, 1948, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the daughter of Herbert and Nina (Arenkiel) Beehler.

Laureen married Richard Behling, Sr. on January 29, 1999. She worked for Rockford Products filling orders for many years and then became a housekeeper. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and taking care of her indoor plants. She collected anything frog related and occupied many hours crocheting. Laureen’s favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons Steven Beehler, David (Paula) Brown, and Jeremy Behling; grandchildren Damon, Jaeden, and Lucy; her sister Brenda “Pix” (Thomas) Bunk; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; first husband David Brown; second husband Richard Behling; sister Julie Eads; and brother Kirby Beehler.
