Laura Anne Williams, 63, of Rockford, passed away on March 29, 2024, at Serenity Home in Oregon. She was born on March 12, 1961, in Dubuque, Iowa; the daughter of Clarence and Karan (Randall) Williams. Laura graduated from Rockford Business College as a cosmetologist. She also became a CNA when she lived in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of the First Born, now known as First Born Ministries in Machesney Park. Laura enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to be around babies. She loved to get a Coke from McDonalds. Laura collected $2 bills and coins, spent time in the community garden with her grandsons, and enjoyed canvas painting.
Survivors include her daughter Monique Williams; grandchildren Dante, LaDaisha, Tammy, Zavion, JaMarion, and JaZariah Williams; great grandchildren Desiree, LaDhalia, LaDaria, and Josiah; mother Karan Turnmeyer; siblings Linda Williams, Bob Ousley, Brett (Melissa) Ousley, Kim (John) Kelly, and Karan (Jesse) Miles; several nieces and nephews; and good family friends Willie Parham and Donnette Nailor; and her service dog Justice. She is predeceased by her father Clarence Williams; daughters Angela and LaDonna Williams; brother Bill Ousley; and niece Zoe Hudson.
