Laura Mcbain

Laura Ann McBain, 52, of Rockford, passed away on April 21, 2022. She was born on September 27, 1969; the daughter of Fred and Cora (Ross) Kelly. Laura had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off your back. She had a deep faith in God. Her daughters think she was the best mom ever and that she had enough energy to fuel the world. Her family takes comfort knowing she is flying with the butterflies now. Laura’s survivors are her life partner Timothy Lowery; daughters Heather Barnes, Nikki (Keith) Moore, Amber Schnepper, and Kayla McBain; grandchildren Allysa and William Barnes, Kaylynn Heger, and Addyson Dawsey; brothers John (Kim) Kelly and Dave Kelly; her best friends/sisters Cheryce Dodson and Jessica Clark; several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Cora Kelly. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm, Monday, April 25, 2022, at Rockford Community Church, 6909 Auburn Rd., Rockford, IL 61101, with Rev.
