Laura Forrest

Laura Ann Forrest, 58, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Laura was born on December 9, 1963 in Rockford, Illinois daughter of Millard and Vida (Creek) Blade. She was the youngest of ten children. Laura loved camping, fishing, travelling and motorcycles. It was through their shared love of motorcycles that Laura met her husband Dennis. Laura married her best friend, Dennis Dean Forrest, on June 28, 1997 at their river lot in a true reflection of another shared love – the great outdoors. The pair made many memories travelling on their bikes. Several memorable adventures to Sturgis, Daytona Beach and Key West as well as just cruising around town. Laura was a generous, loving, kind, caring, giving woman who was always willing to help and there for anyone in need. Laura loved people and loved celebrating holidays and hosting parties. She absolutely loved the Fourth of July and Halloween. More than anything, Laura loved her family and spending time with them.
Laura is loved and missed by her husband, Dennis; children Lindsey (Jeffery) Turnure and Jesse (Kayli) Forrest; two siblings; grandchildren Savanna, Brooklyn and Hawkins; several cousins; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved furbabies and grand-furbabies.
Laura is predeceased by both parents and many sisters and brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the White Eagle Club of Rockford 235 15 th Avenue Rockford, Illinois 61104.  Stateline Cremations assisted the family 712 Windsor Road Loves Park, Illinois 61111.
