Larry Jones

Larry C. Jones, 69 of Rockford passed away on 03/02/2025 at home surrounded by family.

Larry was born January 16, 1956, in Pocahantas, Arkansas to Charles and Ora Lee (McCandless) Jones. He Married Carole A. Korah on September 15, 1979. He served his country in the US Air Force. Later, he worked the majority of his life as a machinist/mechanic.  He was also a volunteer for the New Milford fire Department.

Larry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, shooting and cookouts with family and friends. He also was a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He is survived by his wife Carole; Daughter Jaclyn (Gabino) Garcia; Granddaughter Agustina Garcia; Grandson: Emiliano Garcia; brother Gary (Cindy) Jones; and brother by heart Paul Korah.

He is preceded in death by both if his parents and brother Timothy Jones.

A breakfast Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025, at the St. Vincennes Shelter at the Kishwaukee River Forest Preserve, 5757 Blackhawk Rd. Rockford, IL 61109 at 9AM.
