Larry W. Denhart, 84, of Loves Park, passed away on March 27, 2026, at Alden Debes Subacute Complex. He was born in Benton, IA on June 16, 1941; the son of Clarence and Eleanor (Busse) Denhart.
Larry graduated from West High School in Rockford in 1959. He married Marjorie McCracken on April 6, 1963. She passed away on July 17, 2023. Larry was a Sheriff’s Deputy and also worked as a deputy coroner. He was known to be a gun enthusiast in his younger years and had also been a HAM Radio operator.
Larry is survived by his brother Richard (Melanie) Denhart and his son-in-law Clayton Bower. He is predeceased by his parents; wife Marjorie; and daughter Holly Bower.
