Kimberly Young

Kimberly Jane Young, 55, of Rockford, died in her home on March 11, 2021. Born March 13, 1965 in Rockford; daughter of James Smith and Lougerald Bonham. Kim enjoyed spending time outdoors, cooking, crafting, and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful artist and the life of any party. Kimberly is survived by her children Nicole (Joshua Bismark) Foss, Randi Suter, and Cody (Kirstyn Maavich) Suter; grandchildren Evelyn, Emerald, and Elliot Winterton, Sofie, KJ, Coda, and Jada Suter and Gabe Maavich; step father Robert Stone; step mother Cheryl Smith; grandma June McNaughton; siblings Gary Smith, Jon and Josh Stone, and Amy and Jennifer Smith; aunts Donna Nading, Neva (Chuck) Gustafson, and Linda (Curt) Daniels; great uncle Dale Carlson; great aunt Janet Carlson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents. There will a celebration of life at a later date and will be announced at that time.
