Kenneth Forrester

Kenneth E. Forrester, Jr., 69, of Rockford, passed away at Swedish American Hospital on November 12, 2021. He was born on May 2, 1952, in Sanford, FL and was raised in Freeport, son of Kenneth, Sr. and Trudy Forrester. Ken graduated from McHenry County College and worked as Tool and Die maker. Married Sandra Walberg on December 15, 1979, in Belvidere. Ken loved fishing for walleye and was an avid Bear’s fan. He had an extensive baseball card collection, including Mickey Mantle as his first card, that he started when he was seven years old. Ken is survived by his wife Sandi; children Katrina (Dana) Dobson in Virginia, Christopher Forrester in Oklahoma, Jeremiah (Jennifer) Forrester in Roscoe, and Jess Forrester in Rockford; grandchildren Austin, Shane, Erick, Max, Mia, Hannah, and Claire. He is predeceased by his parents, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring.
