Kelvin Krise

Kelvin Glen Krise, 70, of Pecatonica, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on November 20, 2025.
He was born on August 12, 1955, to Glen and Mildred (Heid) Krise. Kelvin graduated from Stockton High School in 1973.
On March 14, 1981, he married the love of his life, Sharon Mielke. Kelvin spent many years as a dedicated dairy farmer before later working in shipping and receiving for Newell and Snak King in Freeport.
Kelvin had a lifelong love of animals. Over the years he raised chickens, two emus, rabbits, and sheep, and he took great pride and joy in caring for them. He and Sharon enjoyed attending farm sales, auctions, and estate sales, where Kelvin especially loved visiting and socializing with others.
More than anything, Kelvin cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. Their company was his greatest joy and comfort throughout his life.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sharon; children Kelli, Michael, Kate, and Andrew; grandchildren Kaylee, Alexis, Aravis, Bennett, Lyra, Walter, Everett, Victoria, Beckett, Kayden, Reid, and Sloan. He was predeceased by his parents.
