Judy Kay Williams, 76, of Roscoe, Illinois passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, with family at her side.  She was born on October 1, 1947; the daughter of Vincent Traina and Harriett (Whipple) Traina.  Judy was a graduate of Guilford High School and Marquette University.

Judy was a devoted parishioner of Church of the Holy Spirit in Roscoe, where she scheduled lectors for many years.  In 2017, Judy was nominated for Woman of the Year at the Church of the Holy Spirit.  She truly loved her church family. Following college, Judy was a Spanish teacher at Boylan Catholic High School and, following a short break to have children, was a realtor.  Although she had a successful career, her proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. Judy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, every chance she had as well as gardening, family cookouts and pool parties, bowling, following Marquette basketball, get-togethers with her best friend, Nancy, and especially playing blackjack.

Survivors include son Michael P. (Corinna) Williams, daughter, Elizabeth A. Lara, grandchildren, Lilliana and Emily Williams and Madeline, Owen and Isabella Lara, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Harriett Traina.

A visitation will take place at Church of the Spirit in Roscoe, Illinois on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m.  A luncheon will follow at the VFW in Roscoe.
