Judith Nichols

Judith Anell (Wolf) Nichols, 83, of Rockford, passed away on July 21, 2022, in her daughter’s home, surrounded by family. She was born on September 3, 1939, in Chicago; the daughter of Charles P. and Henrietta M (Smith) Wolf. She married John Nichols on August 2, 1959, in Bensenville, IL. Judith was a faithful soul, loved her Lord, and cherished her family. She loved to laugh, paint, crochet, yellow roses, hummingbirds, the color purple, her husband’s singing…but not when he sang country music, and her buddy Jasper. Judith is survived by her husband of 62 years, John; her children Julie (Pete), Jeff, Joanne (Kevin), Jeannine (Steve), and Jeanette (Joe); grandchildren Breanna, Rebecca, Jenae, Torri, Ali, Ashley, Anthony, Megan, Paul, Adam, Jacob, Andrew, Mary, Robert, and Joseph; great-grandchildren Levi, Avery, Lysle, Luxton, Lowyn, Liam, Emily, Griffin, Eli, Mason, Ethan, Darren, Lisa, Maverik, Nixon, Indy, Macoy, and Benton; and siblings Charlene and Gary.
