Judith Heins

Judith Marie Heins, 66, of Rockford, passed away suddenly on July 15, 2022, in Swedish American Hospital. She was born on October 1, 1955, in Rockford; the daughter of Robert and Carole (Reed) Heins. She worked as a nurse at both Rockford Memorial Hospital and Swedish American Hospital over the years. She loved animals and caring for the stray cats in her neighborhood. She is survived by her son Daniel (Margarita) Bunk; her grandchildren Daniel Bunk, Jr. and Linda Bunk; her sisters Rebecca Box and Janet (Mike Cialkowski) Heins; nephews Noah Forbes and Tristen Garmon; and niece Jennifer Schatz. She is predeceased by her parents and sister Roberta Forbes. There will be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date.
