Joyce A Boyer

Joyce A. Boyer, 72, of Winnebago, passed away in her home after a long illness, on June 21, 2026. She was born on June 1, 1954, in Greeneville, Tennessee, the daughter of Cloyd and Elizabeth (Dunbar) Davis.

Joyce graduated from Winnebago High School in 1972 and married Steven R. Boyer on June 22, 1974. When Joyce was younger, she worked as a cake decorator for a few bakeries in the area and in later years she took care of her grandchildren. Because of her love of making cakes, you could find her at craft shows researching different techniques for her craft.

Survivors include her loving husband of over 50 years, Steven; her sons Eric and Jason Boyer; grandchildren Callie, Kiarra, Cody, Cooper, and Chloe; great-granddaughter Aiyana; brothers Danny Davis, Terry (Cheryl) Davis, Ronny (Lori) Davis, Lonny (Carol) Davis, and Jerry “Mack” Davis; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her son Adam Boyer.
