Joseph Fertitta

Joseph Michael Fertitta, 58, of Machesney Park, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, in his home surrounded by his family. Joseph was born on may 14, 1964, in Rockford to Samuel and Bernice Fertitta, where he was raised. He attended Harlem High School here locally. Joseph went on to become a roofer, which he did for many years. On June 20, 2009, Joseph married Karen Hardesty. Joseph enjoyed going fishing, following fantasy football, and playing pinball.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 13 years, Karen; daughter, Ariel Fertitta; step-children, Cedric and Angela Ignacio; brothers, Sam, Vince, Tony and Ray Fertitta; sisters, Connie and Sandy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bernice.  Services for Joseph will be announced at a later time.
