Joseph Concialdi

Joseph Ronald Concialdi, aged 60, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025 . Born on April 29, 1965 , in Rockford, IL, he was the son of Ronald and Shirley (Wheeler) Concialdi.

A proud graduate of Harlem High School's Class of 1983 where classmates affectionately voted him "Class Genius". Joe began his higher education at Northwestern University before earning multiple degrees from Southern Illinois University. He devoted his career to working as an IT engineer at Motorola in Schaumburg, IL, earning deep respect for both his keen intellect and unwavering work ethic.

Joe served his country in the Army National Guard. Outside of work, he found joy in music of every variety—though classical held a special place in his heart—and in daily walks with his loyal dogs, undeterred by rain, snow, or heat.

Joe is survived by his sisters, Jennifer Concialdi and Jill Concialdi‑Morris; his nephew Dom (Whisper) Concialdi; niece Corianna Concialdi; great-nephews Elliot Concialdi and Zaidyn Johnson; his aunt Kate Wheeler; cousins Michele, Sue, and Jane; and cherished pets, Louie and Kona. He was preceded in death by his parents, cousin Nancy Wheeler, and his beloved dog Luci and his cat, Max.
