JOSEPH T. CARMINE, 53, LOVING FATHER, HUSBAND, SON, BROTHER AND UNCLE passed from this earth unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Joe was a 20 year member of Carpenter’s Local Union 792 in Rockford, IL. He often traveled for work with the union. He worked in Western IL, Iowa, Southern IL, the Chicago area, and Indiana. He was always willing to help friends and neighbors with home projects using his remarkable skills. He was especially proud of his children’s accomplishments and worked hard to help them achieve their goals. Predeceased by brother Andy Carmine, grandparents Harold and Florence Brigode, Angelo and Grace Carmine and brother-in-law Thomas Schneeman. Survivors include wife, Ann (Schneeman) Carmine, son Amedeo Joseph ‘AJ’ Carmine and daughter Amelie Mara Carmine, parents Willian A. & Sharon M. Carmine, sisters Stacey (Mark) Schadt, Rebecca Spencer, brother John (Lori) Carmine, sister-in-law Jarmila (Scott) Wineland, several nieces & nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles, and his beloved beast. A Remembrance Party will be held on Friday, Sept. 27th, 4-8pm at the American Legion on 1011 South Alpine in Rockford. Also, due to many of his Union Brothers working out of the area at this time, a Remembrance Party will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 4-8pm at Whiffletree Tavern, 11347 Main St. in Roscoe. Friends and family are asked to come with a favorite story or memory to share at these gatherings. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to gofundme at https://www.gofundme.com/joe-carmine-memorial-fund or to an account that has been set up at Chase Bank, 11440 Main St., Roscoe IL in the name of Ann Carmine.
