Jorge Alberto Monino, II, passed away on February 9, 2022, in Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. Born October 4, 1976, in Arlington Heights, IL; son of Jorge and Mary (Sanders) Monino Boring. Jorge had many jobs during his lifetime, from working with high pressure pumps to fast-food delivery. He was an extremely artistic and creative person and worked in many mediums of art including leather, chain mail, and glass etching. Jorge was a Druid and he played in Dagorhir games. He would join with people in a spiritual gathering called a Drum Circle. He made Mead (a sweet wine) and would share with his friends and family. He was very in tune with mother earth and wanted to preserve her as much as he could by making self-sustainable gardens and raising chickens. He considered himself the Grateful Dead’s number one fan and wore a “Dead” hat that was always a topic of conversation. He was a very compassionate person that became his mother’s caretaker while she battled melanoma. He was extremely proud of his son who was his pride and joy. Survivors include his son Sebastian and his daughter Mazikeen; siblings Monique Monino, Eric Boring, Tony Boring, and Craig Boring; several nieces and nephews, uncle Michael (Mary) Sanders; aunts, Laura (Thomas) Gajewski Deby (Mary Lucarelli) Sanders; and several cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, and his uncle Garnett Sanders. A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
