John York

John Andrew York, 44, of Rockford, passed away November 12, 2020 in his home. Born April 27, 1976 in Rockford; son of Wally York and Diane Stroiberg. John was a hard worker and was a truck driver. He had a smile that would light up a room and everyone that met him loved him. John enjoyed barbequing, cooking, and baking. He loved animals, especially his 2 dogs and 3 cats. Survivors include his mother Diane Schwartz; sisters Sheral (Tim) Howard and Christine (Glenn Pryor) York; nieces and nephews Mariah, Bubbie, Mitchell, Felecia, Bryan, Timmy, Ashley, John John, and Ben, Mikey, and Logan; husband of 17 years James Denue; and his babies Lyric and Piggy (his dogs), and Charlie, Muffin, and Butchy (his cats). Due to Covid 19 the family is choosing to do a Celebration of Life at a later date. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 712 Windsor Rd., Loves Park.
