John Arthur Schultz, 76, of Belvidere, died peacefully in his home on January 14, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Born March 1, 1943 in Janesville, Wisconsin; son of John D. and Velda (Sanderson) Schultz. Married Judy L. Whitlatch on February 28, 1991. He worked as a truck driver for Cassens Transport, in Belvidere, for 25 years. John enjoyed woodworking, making jewelry, and tinkering with anything with moving parts. He also collected antique radios and glassware. He loved his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs Lady, Stewart, Alyssa, and Twinkie. Survivors include his wife Judy; daughter Gayla Schultz and her children Dakota, Luca, and Payton; grandson Nathaniel Varble and his children Natalie, Serenity, and Naleah; stepson Chris McKirgan and his son Andrew; and brother Bobby (Lori) Schultz. He is predeceased by his parents; daughter Tina Schultz; and siblings Kathy, John Daniel, and Gene. ? A Celebration of Life is to be determined later this spring. Cremation rites have been accorded.
