Jerold Evink

November 27, 1938 — November 22, 2023

Jerold “Clink” Evink, 84, of Loves Park, passed away on November 22, 2023, at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born November 27, 1938, in Pipestone, Minnesota; the son of Jacob and Anna Evink. He was one of 22 children. He was a staple in the Loves Park community and owned Jerry’s AC for many years. His favorite hangout was Neighbor’s Bar and Grill in Loves Park where he was lovingly referred to as Uncle Jerry. He loved Nascar, having many favorite drivers over the years, including Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and most recently Kevin Harvick. He used to love to travel. He and his wife Bonnie would just jump in the car and go. They traveled all over the United States on whims.

Jerold is survived by his daughters Teresa (Eugene) Evink-Paris, Sam (Steve Crosby) Evink, and Regina Lehman; grandchildren Teresa, Amanda, Ryan, and Peyton; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Jane Hoyt, Lois Wrigg, and Kenny Evink; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Bonnie; daughter Dawn “Teenie Bug”; and several siblings.
