Jennie Louise Baxter, 94, born February 4, 1931, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at 11:34 PM. Jennie was a loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother of 7, Aunt, Cousin, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Great-Great Grandma! She married the love of her life Bill Baxter on November 19, 1948. They were married just 5 months shy of 50 years before Bill passed away. She was employed through Pierce Packaging for over 20 years; she spent many of her Sunday's filling up their home with as many of The Baxter's as possible for Spaghetti and The Bears. She also took care of her mother on the weekends, who also lived to be 94 years old. She loved her hot black tea, reading her romance novels, and flipping you the bird :)
Jennie is Predeceased by her Parents–Charles & Amanda Schmidt, Husband-William (Bill) Baxter, Brother–Richard (Dick) Schmidt, Daughter–Lea Baxter, & Grandson–Michael Baxter. She is Survived by Sister–Norma Daughtery, Sons–William, Robert (Brenda), Paul (Sandi), Ron (Sherry), and Randy (Cathy), Daughter–Deb, & Son-in-Law–Howard Dahle. She was a grandma to 29 Grandchildren, a Great-Grandma to 45 Great Grandchildren, and a Great-Great Grandma to 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was loved by so many people–especially her Grandchildren. A special Thank You to UW-Health, all of the staff at River Bluff Nursing Home (especially on the Eagle Unit), and The Baxter Bunch :)
