Jared Lee Hammack, 48, passed away on August 23, 2025, born May 4, 1977. Son to Leonard Lee and Connie (Teeters) Hammack. Jared graduated from Hononegah High School in 1995. He was a caring man with a big heart who loved deeply and generously. Known for his remarkable talent in carpentry and plumbing, he had a gift for building and creating, never afraid to dive into something new.

He cherished family time, especially cookouts, where he enjoyed grilling and sharing laughter with family and friends. He loved to go fishing, especially at his grandfather's lake.

Jared is survived by his three children: Michael Hammack, Trent Hammack and Audrie Hammack. His parents Connie and Scot Wappler; stepmother Dee Hammack; girlfriend Janet; siblings Erin Noll, Leah (Collin) Kelly, Jonathan (Gwen) Turner, Savannah Turner, Richard (Olivia) Wappler and Jacob (Jacque) Moeller. Grandparents; Irvin (Joann) Hammack, Margaret Cunningham, Joann (Melvin) Lungstrom, and Richard (Linda) Wappler, and Rose Teeters; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and several close friends.

Jared is predeceased by his father Leonard Hammack and Grandfather Dennis Teeters.

Jared's warmth, creativity, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Riverside Community Church, 6816 N 2 nd St, Machesney Park, IL 61115, with Pastor Bobby Sheets officiating.
