Janice M. Feuling, age 65, went home into Jesus’s arms, surrounded by her loving family, Monday, May 3, 2021 in her home in Roscoe, Illinois. She was born on January 19, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (McBrian) Walkowiak. Janice was a loving Christian, mother, wife and friend Janice grew up on the north side of Chicago where she met the love of her life, Edward M. (Eddie) Feuling. They became high school sweethearts, married on June 24, 1973 and were together for over 50 years. The love of children led to a wonderful journey with 6 children of their own, 2 adopted children and 64 additional foster children (over 25 years). Janice loved children with every fiber of her being and dedicated her life, not just to being a mom to her own children but to caring for foster children and keeping families together. Many sets of the foster children she cared for came in sets of two, three, and even four siblings. She had a big heart and the patience of a saint. She deeply enjoyed taking a bus load of children – as many as 10 kids at any one time- to the zoo, library, park or to sports and activities. Janice loved nothing more than to spend time and talk with her family and friends, always wanting to include everyone, or have a late-night conversation one on one to make sure she had intimate time to connect with you. Janice was a loyal friend and could easily bring a loving and warm presence to anyone she came into contact with.
Janice is survived by her husband, Eddie; her children, Jennifer (Joe) Dattolo, Angela Munoz, Jeremy (Susan) Feuling, Neil Feuling (Adrienne Wang), Summer (Jon) Lakemacher, Valerie (Ed) Boness, Elizabeth Feuling and Jimmy (Kayann) Feuling; her sister, Barb Walkowiak and brothers, Brian Walkowiak and Scott Walkowiak; her 19 grandchildren – Destiny, Adam, Violet, Christopher, Matteo, Faith, Joy, Lily, Anthony, Asher, Hope, Jed, Balthasar, Remi, Gracie, Bastian, Lucas, Niko,Theo; and her 2 great grandchildren Marie and Lila.
