James Goble

James Robert Goble, 78, passed away on September 23, 2021, at Generations at Neighbors in Byron, Illinois, with his girls by his side. Jim was born on February 19, 1943, to Ida and James Goble. He graduated from West High School in the 1960s. Jim is survived by his two children, Roxanna Goble and Aalim Hannef; granddaughters, Jessica Goble and Asiyah Hannef; along with six loving grandchildren; nephew, Steven (Midge) Morrow; brother, Kenneth Goble. He will be deeply missed by many. Jim loved to poke fun, make friends during any occasions, drive around with his girls for hours and listen to music. He took a special interest in finding antique cars and listening to motorcycles rev their engines. He was one who was “hard” on the outside, but the biggest “softie” to those who found a place in his heart. The family would like to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to all the staff in the memory care unit at Generations at Neighbors for all the love they shared and time they spent with Jim. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M., at B & B Park Bowl 5626, North 2nd Street, Loves Park, Illinois, 61111.
