James Davidson

James Guy Davidson, 86 of Belvidere, died November 6, 2019 in Park Place Nursing Home. Born September 25, 1933 in Brainerd, Minnesota; son of Guy and Evelyn (Peterson) Davidson. Served in the US Army 1950-1951 and 1956-1958. Was married to Jeanne Cornwell; she died December 25, 2009. James worked for the Belvidere Park District during the ‘80’s. He was a welder for National Business and Industrial Center and was also self-employed as a welder. Long time member of the Belvidere VFW and Elks Club. He was an avid Vikings fan, and a Jack-Of-All-Trades; he could fix anything. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Park Place and Northern Illinois Hospice for their loving care. Survivors include his children Debbie Davidson, Jill Davidson, Kevin (Connie) Davidson; Tim Davidson; Katrina Young; Kristi (Skip) McKenzie, and Kurt (Shanon) Davidson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, wife Jeanne, sons Jimmy and Kelly Davidson, brother Butch Davidson, and granddaughter Lauren Davidson. ?   A Celebration of Life will be 4 pm, Sunday, November 10, 2019 in the Firehouse Pub, 10670 Main St., Roscoe, IL.
