James Arthur Andrews, 69, passed away at home in Rockford IL on Monday, September 29, 2025. He was born January 27, 1956, to Allen Jr and Eunice Andrews in Beloit, WI. Lived in Salem WI during his school years. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war as a proud Seebee! Jim was a collector of football sport cards, vinyl records, and anything related to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On August 20, 1977, he married Patty Snyder in Belvidere, IL. Jim retired from Rockford ToolCraft. He previously worked at Nissan Forklifts and Green Giant.
Jim was preceded in death by his youngest son, Ryan in May of 2023, parents and his sister, Deedee. Also his father-in-law, OJ Snyder, who treated Jim like a son.
Jim is survived by his wife, Patty and oldest son, Nick; three brothers Michael, Robert and Skip.
A special thank you to his friend, Ron Eucker, who visited with Jim while he was at the Madison VA hospital. Also, to Northern IL Hospice who took such great care of Jim during his short time left.
