Jacqueline Barone-Mcclellan

Jacqueline Sue McClellan, age 58, died peacefully in the arms of her husband and surrounded by her children on March 24, 2023, at her home in Machesney Park, IL after a courageous battle with cancer. Jacki was born on October 29, 1964, in Great Falls, Montana to James and Carol Barone. She was raised by Steven and Carol Sawyer. She graduated from Fountain Ft. Carson High School. Jacki retired after a successful career of twenty-three years with Rockford Public Schools. Jacki was happily married to Randy McClellan on October 13, 1990, who was her partner in life for thirty-two years.
Jacki is survived by her husband; her two children Emily (Joe) Miller and John McClellan; and her two beautiful granddaughters Ellie and Olivia Miller who she loved more than life itself.
Jacki lived life to the fullest and enjoyed attending Milwaukee Brewers games, camping with her husband and two yorkies Lola and George, spending time with her children, and laying in her hammock on a warm, sunny day reading her books. Although, her favorite thing in the world was being a Mimi to her grandbabies. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 11:00 am-3:00 pm at The Twisted Tulip located at 7901 Burden Rd. Machesney Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jacki’s name may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN.
