Jack Frederick Roeger, of Haines City Florida & Poplar Grove, IL, passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on September 22, 1930, in Rochester, NY, Jack lived a life full of hard work, dedication, and service to his family and community.
Jack was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Navy for five years. Following his service, he dedicated himself to his family and career, working tirelessly until his retirement. A true outdoorsman at heart, Jack enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and golf. He was an active Boy Scout leader for many years, imparting valuable lessons and fostering a love for the outdoors in many young people.
Jack was married to his beloved wife, Mary Caroline Roeger, with whom he shared a full life with seven wonderful children. Even in his later years, Jack could not sit still, his boundless energy and willingness to help others never wavered. He was known for his keen sense of order, often insisting on a clean house, and his genuine kindness in aiding those in need.
Jack is predeceased by his first wife Mary Caroline Roeger ; and son John "Jack" Roeger. He is survived by his wife Joy Harris Roeger; his children, Mary Caroline (Michael) Yost, Francis (Michael Johnson) Budd, Stephen (Rena) Roeger, Kenneth Roeger, Kathleen (Thomas) Perry, David (Susan) Roeger, siblings Betty Harter and Armin Roeger; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no service at this time, a private ceremony for the family will be held at a later date.
