Helen Stowe

Helen Louise Stowe, 86, of Rockford, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in Swedish American Hospital. She was born on January 19, 1933, in Belvidere; daughter of Lemuel Murphy and Ethel (Kronki) Pritz. Helen was married to Virgil Stowe. Helen enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and word searches. She likes watching Family Feud and raising her canaries and cockatiels. She is survived by her 6 children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers, and 1 sister. A Celebration of Life will be at 11 am, Friday, June 14, 2019, at Rockford Community Church, 6909 Auburn Street, Rockford with Pastor Michael Kelley officiating. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 7307 N. Alpine Road, Loves Park.
