Gwen R. Eads, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Dixon Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family. Gwen was born March 22, 1960, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Sharon (Carbaugh) and Gordon Rolofson.
She is survived by her son, Josh Eads; her daughter Jessica (James Heath) Eads; her grandchildren Treyton, Brinley, and Maci; her sister Kelly (Mike) McDuffy of Sterling; her brother-in-law Randy (Julie) Dejonge of Rock Falls; and her stepmother Marie Rolofson. She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; her sister Rhonda Dejonge; and her great-nephew Oliver Dejonge.
In accordance with Gwen’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 6204 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111. www.statelinecremations.com
