Gregory Foltz

Gregory Allen Foltz, 66, passed away peacefully in his home on May 31, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones following a valiant battle with cancer. Greg was the first-born child of parents Aaron and Nancy Foltz. Graduate of Harlem High School. He was a hard-working man his entire life; employed at various manufacturing companies in Rockford. Greg was also fun-loving and enjoyed life to the fullest. Greg was an avid sports fan but especially favored playing 18 rounds of golf with his best friend of 50 years, David R. Johnson. A devoted father, Greg also passed on his love of baseball to his son, Allen, whom he coached in little league for many years. Greg is survived by his loving partner of 30 years, Linda McElmeel; son Allen Foltz; and beloved dog Chico. Also survived by sister, Lori Carlson, brothers Michael Foltz, Ken (Susan Myers) Foltz and numerous relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents. “Rest in peace my love and you will suffer no more. I will miss you and love you always.” Love, Linda. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
